Where Do You Belong?

Often, when starting up a business the thoughts of everything involved can be quite overwhelming. Especially when you're thinking of bringing in multiple streams of income. When I first started focusing on finding out more information concerning multiple streams of income I remember the thoughts that flooded my mind almost paralyzing me from taking any type of action at all. Thoughts like, where or how do I start a business, do I need a marketing plan, is there a certain type of legal set up that would work best for me, should I be tax strategizing, and what product or service should I provide. This may not come as a surprise to you but, a great number of people don't know what they want out of life. They all meditate on what they don't want. So when they are faced with a decision like, what niche should they get into, their thoughts become clouded.

So, if you're interested in building multiple streams of income or just starting up one stream for now you will need to be able to decipher what you want out of life. Another way to put it is what your niche should be.

Have you ever felt like you don't belong? Have you ever felt a void in your life but you can't quite put your finger on what was missing?

Through many conversations, the number one statement or thought that people feel led to share with me is the feeling of not belonging. There was once a time when I too felt out of place. My weekend routines consisted of anything I could do to numb the pain of not knowing who I was, where I belonged or why I always felt a void in my life. Little did I know, most friends and strangers also felt the same way. So many people are afraid to have the revelation of who they really are that they go through life being who everyone else wants them to be.

If you want to be successful in life and in your business then you need to come to an understanding of who you really are and what you really want to accomplish.

Scripture tells us that we all have a purpose in life and are special in some way. We all have some skill, knowledge or talent that should be shared. All of the above is considered a gift as God can take all bad and use it for good. Once you come to an understanding of what gifting you have available to share then it is a moral obligation to share your gift with others. Sharing a lesson learned can change a life and can help others keep from making the same mistakes. The people that feel the least important in life are the ones that have the most potential to change the world.

1Corinthians 12:18 states "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him."

members: Greek Transliteration is (Strongs G3196) melos -
which means a member, limb: a member of the human body

them: (Strong's G846) autos -
which means himself, herself, themselves, itself

it hath pleased him: (Stongs G2319) thelō - which means to will, have in mind, intend

But now hath God set the limb (a member of the human body), every person as God has intended.

Here we see that God has intended for us to be placed somewhere specific. He has something in mind for each and every one of us. Romans 12:4 states "For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office." It's good to know that not only do we all have an intended part to play but it is even better to know that we are all different. No need to compete. No need to be afraid of failure because there is no one that you can compare yourself too! Because you're different than everyone else. The truth is that someone will always be better than you in any given topic but no one will be better than you being who you were intended to be.

So spend some time in prayer and meditation asking God to reveal to you what his intentions for you are and be willing to make a commitment to not let him and everyone else down keeping all your gifts to yourself.

Dear Lord,
Thank you that scripture states that you have plans for me and my life. Thank you that you have made me set apart and that I can never be like anyone else because the only way I can 100% succeed in life is believing in you to guide me through my challenges and choices. Thank you for giving me the clarity and strength to not only know who I am in You but having the confidence to step out and not be afraid to be me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

To Your Success and Freedom,
