The Most Important Things I've Ever Learned

When you spend time running your own business and you make the decision to push through all barriers and never look back you come across a few helpful tools along the way.

Write It Down

Hab. 2:2
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make [it] plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Looking back I realize that when I was growing up my wants were not lining up with what I was attracting into my life. It seemed like every choice I made produced a negative outcome and I could not help but wonder what I was doing wrong.

One example of this is set in a time before I contemplated a life of ministry. It was a time before my husband Charles and I were dating but were good friends. He was the only male at the time in my life that had a hold of God's Word and the promises it contained so I often found myself going to him for advice. He would share God's Word with me on a daily basis with a hope that I would see the light.

As the story goes, the day that my husband, Charles first laid eyes on me, he was at my place of work waiting for an interview. As he was in the lobby, anxiously waiting to be interviewed, he saw me standing in front of 2 glass doors. The moment he saw me he heard the voice of the Lord state that I was his wife. He held onto that Word from God for 6-8 long months but he could not keep what he knew to be true a secret. He pursued me for months and the more he pursued me the more I hurt his feelings. There came a point that Charles made the statement that he would rather have me as a friend then nothing at all. At the time I thought that a strong man of God that treated me nice was not my type. For many years, all of my friends thought that "my type" was in need of being re-evaluated.

During this time I was living out my daily life walking out secular beliefs and wondering why I felt so alone, broke, angry and confused. I was dating all of the wrong men that treated me less than I was worth. My weekends were filled with anything that resulted in numbness of my self actualization. Many people wander the streets their entire life and do not recognize their true self. You walk around feeling like something is missing in your life. The knowing and feeling that something is missing makes you see yourself as singled out, different and alone.

One day, Charles asked me to take an hour or so and write down what I wanted in a husband and to call him back when it was complete. He had high hopes that I would be shocked at the results. After much deliberation, I started to contemplate on what I thought I wanted. What was surprising is that I did not have a clue what that was. No one ever asked me! The only way I was able to write a list was to think about all of the past relationships that irritated or upset me in the past. So, I proceeded to write down the opposite of everything I despised in a relationship. Once my list was complete I was shaking my head back and forth saying no, no, no, no...this is not right. The list was the one man that I resisted being with for so many months. The one man that I told all of my friends and co-workers was not my type for so long. What would this mean for me? I couldn't get past the pride I would have to eat once everyone knew my change of heart.

When I spoke to Charles again he asked me to read the list to him. Oh noooooo, I thought. I remember reading him the list deliberately leaving out certain characteristics because they seemed to specificly identify him. Too fearful and full of pride at the time to give into the list I did not let on that I knew that he was the one for me.

The point of this story is that 22 years of my life was spent desiring relationships that I did not want. I was pressing for a goal that was an incorrect desire and I was achieving all of my goals wondering why all of those bad things were happening to me. I started to wonder if the same was true about my situations and circumstances.

It still took me a few weeks and an audible voice telling me that Charles was the guy that God chose me to marry but once I heard God's voice I knew what to do. I made a decision to start sitting down and writing out my thoughts and dreams on a regular basis. It is important to do it every 30 days or so because your dreams and desires will change as you start reaching your goals more often.

I was watching a movie over the weekend titled "The Peaceful Warrior" and in this film Socrates stated that "Everyone wants to tell you what to do and what's good for you. They don't want you to find your own answers, they want you to believe theirs."

This was exactly the trap that I had fell into. Growing up I was so concerned about fitting in, being important that I formed a subconscious opinion about the type of person, situation or circumstance that is considered acceptable to the world. Everything I thought I knew was a preconceived idea that I had to unlearn in order to save myself more years of tears and heartache.

Proverbs 13:12
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.

My hope was not on anything of value. Deep down I did not know my dreams, desires or much less what I wanted in life. Not knowing made me fearful and I hid my fear with snootiness and intimidation. Don't make your heart sick like I did. Sit down and write out what you really want in life. What you want in a husband, wife, friend, job, etc.

When you decide to make a change make sure that you stick to your true self, wants and desires. Take notice that once you make this decision that you will need to forget the past and only focus on today as today molds your future and plan to keep moving forward.

In Phil 3:14 it states that "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

All of those years I spent pressing toward the wrong mark making things harder on myself. Lesson #1 is WRITE IT DOWN.

Watch Your Mouth

2 Cor. 10:5 states that "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ"

There are days when it is easy to forget that mounds of debt or relationship problems are piled high on your shoulders and there are days when you feel as if you have waited around long enough and there are no options left that will lead you into success. How do you feel today? Do you feel exhausted from all of your worrying and hard work? Have you exhausted all options trying to get out from under all of that personal and business hardship?

The Free Online Dictionary.com defines exhaust and/or exhausted as:

1. To wear out completely.
2. To drain of resources or properties; deplete
3. To use up completely

When running your own business you have to be with the times. The market, economy and trends run rampid with change and if not handled properly your business finances will suffer. When we first started our businesses we had a huge amount of success in a very little amount of time. Every day was lived with adding bigger dreams to our already overzealous business thinking "the money only gets better from here".

The Free Online Dictionary.com defines inspiration as:

1. a. Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.
b. The condition of being so stimulated.
2. An agency, such as a person or work of art, that moves the intellect or emotions or prompts action or invention

The word inspiration was referenced twice in the Bible

Job 32:8 But [there is] a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Inspiration: Hebrew translation: nĕshamah (Strong's H5397) is defined as breath, spirit

2Ti 3:16 All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Jam 1:26 If If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion [is] vain.

Jam 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Jam 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though [they be] so great, and [are] driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

Jam 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth. With God all things are possible
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world
I'm created in the image and likeness of God and I shall have whatsoever I say.
The blood of royalty flows within my veins and I decree the favor of God on my life and I, will rein as a king in life.
Jesus said that these works that I do and greater works will you do because He will take them to His Father.
God gave me power to get wealth and I have devine guidance and wisdom on obtaining and using that power in Jesus name. So magnify the Lord! For He has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant and Abraham's blessings are mine!

Now, Take it By Force!

I am now at the point that I will no longer accept defeat. In these last days failure is defined as the mistake of giving up. In my ventures of obtaining multiple streams of income in order to fund the gospel I make the promise to lean into the resistance and take over my devine territory with fierce anticipation. I accept nothing more than a reward more than I could ever ask or think. No more patty cake for me because there's not much time left availble to keep waisting. The more time waisted the less time you have to make a difference!

Matthew 11:12 "And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

Make a decision to do the same and do whatever it takes to make your race successful. Speaking in an ethical manner of course. Always jump into the uncomfortable and prepare your mind soul and body just as a triathlete would. You want to train your mind and your body more and more everyday in order to get a better score or faster results. The more you prepare the more successful your race will turn out.

1 Corinthians 9:24 "Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain."

An Olympic runner start their race out running at a strategic pace. They run just enough to keep themselves in the race but not exerting themselves until a perfectly planned time. Most people start to slack off once the prize is right within their reach and they start not pushing as hard. That is the opposite of what we should do! Once we get our eyes on the prize we push ourselves so hard in order to obtain it for the kingdom. Save all your power and strength for last. Then watch God's super be added to your natural and your reward will blow out all of your imaginations.

More Scriptures to ponder:

1 Corinthians 9:26 "I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air"

1 Corinthians 9:27 "But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway."

Dear Lord,
Thank you that in John 13-14 You state that whatsoever I ask in Your name I shall receive because you will take my request unto Your Father. I ask for the wisdom to strategize my plan to run in this final race. Give me guidance and strength to keep my mind, body and spirit sharp and ready in order to win for your kingdom. Thank you for instilling in me a winning nature and the strength to engross my endurance for your glory. In Your Name I pray, Amen.

When It Seems Like Nothing Is Happening

Have you ever felt like waving the white flag to God?

Have you ever been on the verge of giving up on your call to wealth?

Have you came close to giving up the idea of multiple streams of income or running your own business because the pressure of the extra responsibility gets to be too much?

Don't you wish you had a surrender flag letting God know HELLO!!!! I'm about to give up if you don't do something! If you don't come and help a kid out, I'm on the edge of making a decision that you may not like!?!

God!?! You there!?!

If you haven't figured this out already there will be times when it seems like nothing is happening. Through all of the stress and strains there will be times when you no longer feel that you have the strength to lean into the resistance. The pain of not knowing or not seeing is something not easy to explain, especially in times of tragedy, disappointment and failures. No matter how much praying, meditating, studying, or pushing forward you do, sometimes running the race God planned for you will seem impossible. At some point there will be times that you will not see evidence of progress. Long periods of not witnessing progress can lead to more disappointments, failures and even an ulcer.

There was a time when my business was not looking like it was going to succeed and I stood on faith for many long months knowing that the Bible states that my God shall supply all of my needs. I was not about to let circumstances kick me off of my path. I thought that if I just kept pushing ahead covered with the armor of God then everything would work out. So with much prayer, studying and forcing my way through the trenches ripping territory away from the enemy's hands, I started to notice slight change. The change was so slight that every so often I would come to a very dark place. I mean come on! I am a child of God so these bad things should have no effect on me. Why weren't profits increasing, customer numbers increasing, or my life running any smoother? After all, isn't my God a God of increase? Through much embarrassment of owing money and not being able to pay the money owed on time and sometimes months behind; anger and resentment began to rise up inside of me. Not angry at God but angry that the Scriptures did not seem to be able to keep it's promise. After all, I was stepping out on blind faith. Accepting the wealth call in order to fund His kingdom. Right? Sounded reasonable to me at the time.

Every few months I would ask God what was going on or how come the Word was not producing in my life. One day, mourning in my defeats; I decided to veg out and eat lots of food and watch a sappy movie. Of course I cried through most of it but it helped me keep my mind off of myself. It wasn't until the end of the movie that God spoke to me through it. In the movie the actor had written everything great he saw in his wife. Every great characteristic he knew her to have and that if she was ever feeling doubt, unbelief, or was losing hope in her abilities then she needed to stop and take a look at her life through her husband's eyes. God asked me to do the same thing. God told me that when I start to lose hope, cast doubt, or stop believing in myself and my God given abilities than I need to stop and see myself through God's eyes.

Here are a few ways that your Father God sees you.

1. You're A Creator

In Genesis 1:27 and Colossians 3:10 of the King James Version of the Bible it states that you are created in God's image and God's likeness. Since you are created in the image of the Creator than it should not be a surprise that God sees you as a creator as well?

Knowing that you are a creator is the key to long term success and happiness. When you feel tired, unmotivated, doubtful it is usually in times when you have neglected your creativity. We are innate creators and when we deprive our natural instinct to master our world around us we become weak. The instinct to create is so powerful that if you notice people that do not have this revelation tend to create negativity, tragedy, or chaos around them. Knowing the power of creating my world around me is still sometimes forgotten and I start to focus on the circumstances that surround me. Someone that creates a work of art be it a painting, music, writing, etc. does not do so in a moment's notice. It takes practice to master the art of anything. Lots and lots of practice. So lets get started!

When God formed the earth He did so by speaking. Lets take the word universe. Uni means one and verse means sentence. The first sentence in the Bible should be pretty important right? Genesis 1:1 states that God created the heaven and the earth (universe). Or restated is God created the heaven and the earth in a single spoken sentence. Another important scripture touching on this topic is Genesis 2:19-20. In this scripture God told Adam to name everything in the earth. Adam said it and it was. Read Genesis 1 sometime and count up how many times scripture states the God said, spoke, or called something and it just was.

2. You are more than a conqueror

Romans 8:37 states that you are more than a conqueror.

Check out these definitions of the word conqueror:

To defeat or subdue by force, especially by force of arms; To gain or secure control of by or as if by force of arms: scientists battling to conquer disease; a singer who conquered the operatic world; To overcome or surmount by physical, mental, or moral force. (www.thefreedictounary.com)

The Bible states that you are MORE than a conqueror!

3. You Are Royalty!

God created you in His image and His likeness. You are a child of The Most High!

Matthew 7:11 states "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"

John 10:10 states that "Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly"

Here's one that you need to read for yourself just to make sure that you know that I'm not making this statement. Go ahead, pull out your own Bible and read it for yourself. I don't know about your Bible but my Bible states in John 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

Think about that one!

So getting back to my point. There are lots of promises that are made to you being a child of God. I encourage you to study more on this subject and do some research of those promises.

All that time spent begging and pleading God to do miracles either supernaturally through other people. Just do something. All of that complaining that the scripture should do what it states. But what I did not realize was that I was doing it to myself. God asked me to stop and take a look at myself through His eyes. God made all of us in His image and His likeness. You are of royal blood! Now, when you feel like all hope is lost or start to get anxious, stop and see yourself as God sees you. He has already made a way and finished everything in the beginning. He works miracles by using people he does not impose His miracles at a whim, He does it through others faith, prayer, but most importantly through you. Anything that you have need of, anything that you're going through, God has equipped you to create an answer! He has equipped you to create a solution. So in times when it looks like there is no one helping you then you need to look inside yourself and know that God's nature is on the inside of you showing you how to make a way out of no way.

Dear God,
Thank you for your nature that resides on the inside of me and that I allow that nature to be dominant in my life. Hebrews 11:6 states that without faith it is impossible to please you and that you are a rewarder of them that diligently seek You so I pray for the strength to seek you more and more every day. Give me the desire to grow such a deep relationship with you that I will always follow your voice and not the voice of a stranger and that I use my creativity to line up with your will and purpose that you have for my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Your Present Creates Your Future

There was a time when I went to my corporate world job every day dreading the thought of walking into the building. Now to much regret, I remember visualizing the bar doors shutting behind me once I walked into the building and even heard the clank of the bar doors slamming. It was if I had built up in my mind that working for that company was as bad as being in jail. My heart was to make multiple streams of income that would one day release me of my daily J-O-B stresses.

Now I know that the enemy was distracting me from what was really important. He had me so sidetracked with stress and pressure that I missed some golden God given opportunities. The battle is all in your head but sometimes it's hard to train your mind to focus on anything but negative circumstances. At that time it was all I could do to not meditate on how much I disliked going there daily. I told myself things like, "If I could only work for myself make multiple streams of income, life would be perfect", "It would be nice to only have God as a boss and not that condescending guy in the room behind me", or my favorite "If I was only in the position to fire my boss and walk out without any regret, responsibilities or consequences; how great life would be. More time was spent visualizing and meditating how bad it was.

Once I felt that my job there would soon come to a close I started to feel saddened in my spirit. In my prayer and meditation time I was told to take advantage of every second there because there was something about it that I was going to miss. But the only thing I could focus on was getting out. Now when I look back I realize that all of my complaints and issues came from a heart of fear. Being afraid that I was not who I wanted to be, afraid that I was not perfect, afraid of failing in any way, afraid of being honest with my self, afraid of realizing what was truly important in life, and afraid of not putting myself before a person that God had placed over me professional for a reason.

I remember my last week there, numerous people gave me presents, cards, took me to lunch and some even shared tears. I started to understand that through my 8 years there God was able to touch many lives and I had grown many loyal and thankful relationships that taught me many life lessons. I often sit at my desk now and stare out my window finding myself missing all of the people, relationships and conversations that often brought me joy in what seemed to be a dark situation. Now, I have less of an opportunity to be transparent with people face to face and it's harder to show people how much you care for them. As you have heard the saying, People really don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. So today and everyday, take joy in those that God surrounds you with. They are all truly a gift from God and each second is an opportunity to touch their lives in a big way.

It is our number one purpose to share love to everyone around us. To the good, the bad and the not so pretty. No one is better than you. No one is beneath you, no matter how poor they are, weak they seem, or how their persona appears. It is your duty to love every single person that crosses your path as then and only then will people see Jesus through your eyes and be open to the possibility of their full destiny potential.

Mike Murdock once said that Your Focus Decides Your Finish. Make sure that you are daily protecting your thoughts and do your best to only meditate on things that will give you the results you desire.

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:

2 Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for giving me the revelation of love in my life as the Bible states that perfect love casts out all fear. Thank you for the strength to walk in that perfect love and for the ease that I allow that love to flow out of me. Thank you for the strength and desire to fight the good fight every second of every day as I finish the perfect course you have planned for me. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

Where Do You Belong?

Often, when starting up a business the thoughts of everything involved can be quite overwhelming. Especially when you're thinking of bringing in multiple streams of income. When I first started focusing on finding out more information concerning multiple streams of income I remember the thoughts that flooded my mind almost paralyzing me from taking any type of action at all. Thoughts like, where or how do I start a business, do I need a marketing plan, is there a certain type of legal set up that would work best for me, should I be tax strategizing, and what product or service should I provide. This may not come as a surprise to you but, a great number of people don't know what they want out of life. They all meditate on what they don't want. So when they are faced with a decision like, what niche should they get into, their thoughts become clouded.

So, if you're interested in building multiple streams of income or just starting up one stream for now you will need to be able to decipher what you want out of life. Another way to put it is what your niche should be.

Have you ever felt like you don't belong? Have you ever felt a void in your life but you can't quite put your finger on what was missing?

Through many conversations, the number one statement or thought that people feel led to share with me is the feeling of not belonging. There was once a time when I too felt out of place. My weekend routines consisted of anything I could do to numb the pain of not knowing who I was, where I belonged or why I always felt a void in my life. Little did I know, most friends and strangers also felt the same way. So many people are afraid to have the revelation of who they really are that they go through life being who everyone else wants them to be.

If you want to be successful in life and in your business then you need to come to an understanding of who you really are and what you really want to accomplish.

Scripture tells us that we all have a purpose in life and are special in some way. We all have some skill, knowledge or talent that should be shared. All of the above is considered a gift as God can take all bad and use it for good. Once you come to an understanding of what gifting you have available to share then it is a moral obligation to share your gift with others. Sharing a lesson learned can change a life and can help others keep from making the same mistakes. The people that feel the least important in life are the ones that have the most potential to change the world.

1Corinthians 12:18 states "But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him."

members: Greek Transliteration is (Strongs G3196) melos -
which means a member, limb: a member of the human body

them: (Strong's G846) autos -
which means himself, herself, themselves, itself

it hath pleased him: (Stongs G2319) thelō - which means to will, have in mind, intend

But now hath God set the limb (a member of the human body), every person as God has intended.

Here we see that God has intended for us to be placed somewhere specific. He has something in mind for each and every one of us. Romans 12:4 states "For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office." It's good to know that not only do we all have an intended part to play but it is even better to know that we are all different. No need to compete. No need to be afraid of failure because there is no one that you can compare yourself too! Because you're different than everyone else. The truth is that someone will always be better than you in any given topic but no one will be better than you being who you were intended to be.

So spend some time in prayer and meditation asking God to reveal to you what his intentions for you are and be willing to make a commitment to not let him and everyone else down keeping all your gifts to yourself.

Dear Lord,
Thank you that scripture states that you have plans for me and my life. Thank you that you have made me set apart and that I can never be like anyone else because the only way I can 100% succeed in life is believing in you to guide me through my challenges and choices. Thank you for giving me the clarity and strength to not only know who I am in You but having the confidence to step out and not be afraid to be me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

To Your Success and Freedom,

The Power of FOCUS

When my husband and I first started our multiple streams of income mindset and were able to get the first stream of business started, we were so excited that we wanted the best of everything. We dreamed so big that we started to try to implement every possible option in order to expand as fast as possible. Now dreaming is definitely a good thing but sometimes too much of a good thing is not so good.

We were hiring people left and right, taking on extra responsibilities and based our actions on the fact that we would start something, and then just let go and let God. Well...this is when we had to learn the power of focus the hard way. We pushed ourselves so far ahead so fast that our world turned upside down. We invested in multiple streams of income and the responsibilities started to pile up, balls started to drop and doubt of God's abilities started to creep in. That's right, I'm not perfect and I'll be the first to tell you that I'm far from it. We all know that Jesus used a donkey right? So lets move on...

The first thing that we need to know about The Power of Focus is what the word power means.

The King James Version of Luke 10:19 states "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Tip: You can go to blueletterbible.com and do a word study on any scripture. If the scripture is found in the Old Testament then that means that it was originally written in Hebrew. If the scripture in located in the New Testament than that means that is was originally written in Greek.

Since Luke 10:19 is located in the New Testament the greek word study results are as follows.

Greek Word Study:
Power: exousia - which means permission, physical power & mental power.
Tread: pateō - to trample, crush with the feet
Serpants: ophis - with the ancients, the serpent was an emblem of cunning and wisdom. The serpent who deceived Eve was regarded by the Jews as the devil.
Scorpions: skorpios - it has a poisonous sting in its tail
2nd Power word used: dynamis - which means strength, power, ability
Nothing: oudeis - guess what this means...NOTHING meanse NOTHING!
by any menas: ou mē - this greek works translated means at all or never.

Behold, I give unto you permission, the physical and mental power to crush (with your feet) wise and cunning deceivers and anything that has a poisonous sting, and over all the ability of the enemy: and nothing shall AT ALL shall hurt you.

In order to receive the power of focus you first have to realize that you have been given the power.

In John 14:12, Jesus states that "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."

It is important that you meditate and study as many verses on power that you can find in order to receive the full revelation of power that Jesus died on the cross to give you before you can truly walk in it's successes.

Once you have a good foundation and understanding of the power that you have been given then it will be easier to enter into the power of focus.

In Phillipeans 3:13 Paul states "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before"

apprehended: katalambanō - to lay hold of so as to make one's own, to obtain, attain to, to make one's own, to take into one's self, appropriate
reaching forth: epekteinomai - to stretch out to or towards

Brethren, I count not myself to have made anything my own: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and stretching myself unto those things which are before.

So the one piece of advice from Paul is to not focus on anything other than stretching yourself toward your goals. If you look at the present or the past it is easy to get discouraged or distracted which will force you to take more time to reach the things of God that you really desire.

Have you ever been stretched? Pushed so far beyond your limits that you just want to quit, lose hope, complain or have a nervous breakdown but yet you don't give in? Something deep insides you forces you to just go a little bit further in order to see the fruits of your labor just on the other side. So close you can smell it.

In Phillipeans 3:14 Paul follows with "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

I press: diōkō - to run swiftly in order to catch a person or thing, to run after

So not only did Paul stretch himself towards the things of God no matter the situations or circumstances but he ran swiftly. He ran fast after his goal. When I was young I was raised with 3 brothers and 1 sister. The sister of course was the baby of the family so for a while I was left to play with 3 boys day after day. So most of my days were spent playing war in the woods or sports. We would often play football at a neighbors house and I for one was very competitive as none of my brothers were allowed to be better than me. Or at least that is what I told myself. I remember lining up in formation with all boys and maybe one other girl. It had been raining that weekend so the grass was still wet and you could still feel the dampness in the air. Everytime the ball was in play you're thinking...I have to be near the goal, I have to find an open space so the ball can be passed to me, I have to make sure no one gets in my way or my teams way, or I have to run and dodge every potential hinderance that comes in my way as I'm running for the goal. For 1 to 2 hours all you are allowed to think about is the goal. Well that is we are supposed to be fighting for our goals. That is how you truly press towards the mark. No matter how hard you get hit you have to pick yourself up off the ground, laugh and keep playing the game. This is what it takes to master multiple streams of income.

Thank you Lord that in Luke 10:19 you state that we have been given permission to crush the the enemy, both physically and metally. Thank you for givng me power over the enemy so that nothing AT ALL shall hurt me. I thank you for the strength and wisdom to carry out your will in Phillipeans 3:13 that states that I need to not think on those things which are behind but instead I need to focus and stretch myself only for my future goal. Thank you that I like Paul, in Phillipeans 3:14, press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

How Do You See Yourself?

If you want to become a master of multiple streams of income then you will need to first master yourself. The first and foremost best way to do this is to come to terms with yourself and who you are truly meant to be.

Growing up, I was so afraid of what image I portrayed to people that I often put on a mask of who I aspired to be like. It was easier to hide behind someone that I wanted to seem like, than be myself. As it turns out I was not alone in this thought. The more relationships I surrounded myself with made me realize that most people live behind a similar veil. We put so much pressure on ourselves aspiring to be like someone else or trying our best to be opposite of what we're afraid we may be, that we never have a chance to bring our true selves to fruition. That is a hard self defiling rule to live by but it is a daily American practice none the less. This day and time there are more and more people looking at their mirrored relection often not recognizing the person they see looking back at them. It is always followed by a feeling like something is missing. There is a void in their life that they just can't seem to put their finger on. It is easier for people to do this as many do not have the revelation of their real potential nor do they understand the importance of finding themselves.

In the process of masking my persona, I often sent out a negative vibe that most people labeled as snobbiness or intimidation. It was easy to be nice to everyone but very few people were able to reach inside of me and I was very careful to preplan and overprepare everything. This was important in order to increase my chances of not embarrassing myself by making a mistake or allowing someone to get too close and reveal my secret. You wouldn't know it now by my writings but being transparent is not a trait or characteristic that came easily. In fact...it was my biggest fear.

In 2 Corinthians 3:18 (KJV) the scripture states "But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord."

Lets look at the Greek translation of this scripture 2 Cor. 3:18.

with open: to unveil or uncover

face: the front of the human head, countenance, look, outward circumstances, external condition

beholding as in a glass: to show in a mirror, to make to reflect, to mirror

the glory: opinion, judgment, view, splendour, brightness, magnificence, excellence, preeminence, dignity, grace

are changed: to change into another form, to transform, to transfigure

The scripture restated using the above translation is "But we all, unveiled or unmasked will mirror the glory of the Lord, we are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

This scripture states that if you go your way unmasked that you will then truly see the glory of the Lord as we are changed into the same image from glory to glory by the Spirit of the Lord. Why do you think that the enemy works so hard to get us to lie to ourselves?

Eziekel 28:14 states that before Lucifer fell that "He had been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

Eze 28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

God had covered the head angel in precious stones that allowed Lucifer to reflect God's glory from his cloak making him beautiful. Eze 28:17 tells us that the angel was cast down due to his heart being lifted up because of his beauty, and that he corrupted his wisdom by reason of God's brightness that the angel was gifted to reflect.

Not only did God cast him down but Eziekel 28:19 shows that he stripped Lucifer of his beauty. The very thing that got him kicked out that the enemy was so proud of was what was taken from him. That anyone that looked at him from that point on his look of terror will astonish people.

Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more.

So make a decision right now that you were made for a reason and that God loves you just the "real" way you are. Unmasked and all! He does not want to look into the heart of a mask that he knows is a lie. He wants you to step up and be confident enough in Him that will allow Him to put you as a lamp on a hill. I encourage you to go to God's Word every day and make the decision to build a close relationship with Him. He wants you to make the decision to love Him and gave you free will to make that choice for yourself. No one wants to force someone to love them...or at least they should'nt!

Many years ago, a teen male once asked me this question. "How do you know if God is talking to you or if it is the voice of a stranger?" Immediately the Holy Spirit showed me how to answer his question. I proceeded to ask the young man if he had ever experienced a friend or family member calling him on the phone playingly trying to desguise his voice. Of course the young man said yes and I said that the voice of God is the same way. Once you spend time with someone you can recognize their voice even if they tried to disguise it. Don't let God be a stranger.

Prayer:
Dear Lord,
I thank you that 2 Corinthians 3:18 states that if I come before you and go into the world unmasked that people will be able to see your glory through us. Thank you that Eziekel 28:14 lets me know not to get puffed up by the glory You demonstrate through me. So thank you for the strength and confidence in who You are and take faith in who You want me to become for your glory and honor forever and ever Lord, Amen.
